Ocean

The difference between a car and and ocean are not as great as you'd imagine.

The collision of a wave against your chest

The collision of your head against the steering wheel.

Both send waves of bodily emotion through the rest.

Look out!

Don't fear what you cannot predict,

For the world doesn't play by any rules.

The innocent die before they climax,

And the greedy grow old as ghouls.

The waves cascade from my forehead,

Down over my chest, legs, and my big toe,

I remember the feeling so perfectly,

Peace: the warm liquid of my throes.

The last moments were perfect,

We locked eyes, locked the doors,

And cascaded into the waves,

And forever, we left the floor.
